SYNCHRONICITY-The Western Dance Club
The synchronicity-The Western Dance Club of Dwarka International School is
providing an opportunity to the students to synthesise various elements of
western dance.
The team participates in various intra and inter-school competitions in
Contemporary, Hip-Hop and Modern. The team comprises of students who
focus specifically on their dancing skills with the help of their mentor.
NIMBLE FEET-The Classical Dance Club
The nimble feet-the classical dance club of Dwarka International School is providing an
opportunity to the students to learn basically the use of ‘mudras’ or signs of hand as a
common language of expression. The team participates in various intra and inter-school
competitions and is bringing laurels to the school.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS-Yoga Club
Yoga Club spreads awareness about the importance of yoga among the
students as well as the staff members. The club conducts various yoga
activities for students and staff members to develop their body and mind
on conscious and sub-conscious levels. We actively work on yoga
principles and try to find a ray of wisdom which brings-in real happiness
and inner peace in our hearts.
REATIVITY CLUB- The Art and Craft Club
Art & Craft club is a platform to develop talent, creativity, productivity, aesthetic values and
achievement as well as enhance the creative skills and artistic talents of students. It is our
responsibility to empower our students who are passionate in art and craft. It is a place for
those students to try new techniques and mediums of an art where they can participate in
competition, workshops and exhibitions. The club is open for different activities like Rangoli,
Painting, Drawing, Composition, Ceramics, Collage and
Architecture.
‘BITS and BITES’-The Technology Club
The Technical Club at DIS is a vibrant community dedicated to fostering innovation,
creativity, and technical prowess among students. The club provides a platform for the
students to explore and develop skills in various fields of technology, including software
development, electronics, robotics, and more. Through workshops, guest lectures, and
collaborative projects, the club aims to enhance practical knowledge and problem-solving
abilities. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced tech enthusiast, the Technical Club at
DIS offers ample opportunities to grow and make a meaningful impact.
PHONEIX-THE MUN
The Model United Nations (MUN) club is a powerful educational tool that offers
highly valuable benefits by complementing classroom learning. The goal of
the MUN club at Dwarka International School (DIS), is to help students connect
and engage in current world issues to understand them and look for global
solutions.
The MUN club prepares students for the Model United Nations conferences, conducted
annually at DIS .
NET LOVERS-The Volley Ball Club
Volleyball Club is dedicated to providing the best club volleyball experience for youth and junior athletes. We strive to create an enthusiastic learning environment that is positive for all involved in our programs. Our goal is to teach volleyball fundamentals by sharing our knowledge of the sport. We encourage athletes to excel and reach their full potential by offering the game’s best training and mental aspects. Coaches are devoted to training volleyball players while encouraging them to model composed behavior in a competitive team-driven environment.
VITALITY-The Taekwondo Club
DIS is committed to nurturing not only the strong bodies but also the strong minds.
The Taekwondo Club offers students a chance to learn the ancient art of Taekwondo
in a safe and supportive environment.
NATURE-The Eco Club
“We have not inherited this earth from our forefathers; we have borrowed it from our
children”.
Eco club plays an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst the children.
Its aim is to sensitize the young minds, the future policy makers to feel responsible towards
mother Earth & help the rising Environmental problems. Club organizes tree plantation
programmes, awareness programmes regarding issues pertaining to plants, forests, wildlife,
bio-diversity and climate change. These initiatives educate students about the importance of
preserving natural resources and inspire them to adopt eco-friendly habits.
PARWAAZ- The Theatre Club
“Theatre has the power to move, inspire, transform and educate in ways that no other
art form can. Theatre reflects both the extraordinary diversity of cultures and our
shared human condition, in all its vulnerability and strength.”
The Parwaaz Theatre Club of Dwarka International School is providing an opportunity to
synthesise various elements of theatre like setting, props, plot, character, theme, dialogues
and music. The participants utilized their creativity and imagination to present well-knit acts.
The acts represented an amalgamation of talent, skills and knowledge which give way to
experiential learning. Their enthusiasm and earnest efforts are appreciated by the teacher in
charge and the other theatre enthusiasts. Parwaaz allows the participants to quench their
thirst for theatre and explore latent abilities. It offers a platform to collaborate , communicate
and create meaningful experiences.
